Norman Park Heritage Fair
Saturday 14th July 2007
8:00am - 1:30pm
40 Agnew St, Norman Park
The Heritage Fair was a great success. We enjoyed opening the church up to the local community and offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for visitors to sample our Breakfast Cafe, stalls and displays.
Both Cr Shayne Sutton and Pat Purcell attended and we had over 400 visitors.
Of particular interest to our visitors was the Breakfast Cafe which served over 200 meals, the Cake Stall which sold out and the Trash & Treasure stall, which did a roaring trade. Kids also enjoyed the Animal Farm and the Jumping Castle, not to mention the Ducky Pond!
Overall the Fair made a profit for the Parish and we gained valuable exposure to the local community. In fact it was such a hit, we will have another one, maybe next year!
